Price History
Description
The Parma buttoned bed is profiled by two articulately shaped wings flowing gracefully from the ground, creating a feeling of intimacy. The wings on the headboard of this bed create a sense of immersion, whilst the buttoning adds character and style. The bed base compromises of solid slats which add comfort to the bed. The Parma is customisable and can be upholstered in your choice of fabric to suit your style and colour scheme. The Parma has chrome feet on the footboard and you can choose from fabric buttons or diamante buttons in the detailing for a luxurious look. The headboard is generously padded and features classic chesterfield pleated upholstery aswell as on the foot.
Our Stylist Says
I’m a fan of the Parma winged velvet bed for its sleek, button-tufted headboard and low-profile frame - it instantly anchors a room without feeling overbearing. The black velvet works especially well in contemporary, Art Deco or London‐style apartments, pairing naturally with metallic accents and glass-topped side tables. Styling tip: keep your bedding in soft neutrals or deep jewel tones to contrast with the velvet and introduce a few textured cushions for depth. A mid-tone paint on the walls will stop the space feeling too dark, while a simple patterned rug under the frame helps define the sleeping area. Finally, add a slim, modern pendant or wall-mounted lamps to free up bedside surface and highlight the bed’s curved silhouette.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
