Description

Highlight your interior with Le Corbusier's black and red Parliament Floor Lamp, originally designed in 1963 for the Chandigarh Parliament and now manufactured by Nemo. Showcasing two aluminium shades of different sizes, the contrasting diffusers can be interchanged based on your preference, both casting a dimmable light in varying directions. Swiss-French architect Le Corbusier was one of the most talented and prolific designers of the 20th century. One of the founding fathers of Brutalism, he was enamoured with the vast capabilities of concrete. Often referring to the home as a "machine for living", his designs are as focussed on function as they are on form. Requires: 2x max. 52W E27 bulbs (not included).

Our Stylist Says

I love the playful yet modern aesthetic of this floor lamp. Its bold black and red colour scheme makes it a striking statement piece, especially in contemporary and eclectic interiors. It works particularly well in relaxed living rooms or stylish home offices where a bit of colour and character are welcome. Practical styling tips include positioning it next to a cosy armchair or reading nook to maximise its functional design, while keeping surrounding decor minimal to let the lamp stand out. The adjustable head allows for direct task lighting, making it both stylish and practical-a perfect addition for adding a pop of colour and personality to any space.
