Description
The Paradise Life Distressed Wooden Sign is a lovely addition to any coastal home. Traditional beach signs inspire the sign, and the piece has a maritime colour scheme of blue and white, accented with sea-themed images such as starfish and an octopus. It has a distressed finish for a natural look and features words often associated with the beach: sand, sunshine, waves, and more. It's quick and easy to hang on your walls and will look great amongst seaside decor.
Our Stylist Says
I love this blue distressed wooden sign because of its relaxed, coastal vibe, making it a versatile piece for adding colour and character to various interior styles. It works particularly well in beach-inspired or casual schemes, but can also serve as a charming focal point in boho or shabby chic interiors. Practical styling tips include placing it above a console table, mantelpiece, or even in a bathroom to bring a touch of seaside charm. To enhance its impact, pair it with natural textures like jute, rattan, or linen, and keep surrounding decor light and uncluttered. Its colours and message make it a perfect piece for creating a laid-back, inviting atmosphere in any space.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
