I’m a fan of this Papillon desk for its clever use of shelving built into the legs - it keeps the worktop clear and gives you easy access to books or files without extra furniture. The crisp white finish makes it versatile in minimalist, Scandi or monochrome schemes, and it contrasts nicely against darker or textured walls.
To style it, tuck baskets or magazine files into the lower cubbies and display a small plant or a stack of notebooks on the upper ones. In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores".
