Enter the design legend with this reissue of an iconic lamp. The famous "Pantop" pendant was created in 1980 by famous Danish architect and designer Verner Panton (1926-1998). Made of metal, it stands out with its expressive bell-shaped lampshade. A design classic, “Pantop” has certainly stood the test of time. The Panton pendant comes in a superb palette of colours, each carefully selected, to bring its own personality and mood to the collection. Verner Panton: "Colours have a meaning and function. Colours influence our lives, our moods, our humour and our ability to work. Colours can induce optimism and help create an atmosphere. " Verner Panton is one of the most famous designers of the last century. He excelled in the modern, futuristic style. His creations really left their mark on the 1960s. Today, his most famous creations are still in production and on display in the most prestigious museums. Recognised by his peers, Verner Panton has received numerous awards, including the International Design Award (three times in 1963, 1981 and 1986), the “Deutsche Auswahl” (five times between 1981 and 1984), Denmark’s Dansk Designgråd Årspris in 1991, and the Norwegian Design Prize in 1992.
