Description

Originally designed in 1980 by Verner Panton, the antique brass Pantop Floor Lamp is still crafted by his design house, Verpan, today. Setting out to enhance your space with its sculptural, bell-like structure, it is crafted entirely from metal with a black fabric cord, and finished with antique brass. Gifted with a unique sense of colour, shape and light, Verner Panton is renowned across the globe as one of Denmark's most influential designers. Boldly creating furniture and lighting that was completely unlike the work of his contemporaries, Panton's designs are housed in collections at New York's MoMA, Copenhagen's Danish Museum of Art and Design and the Design Museum in London. Requires: 1x max. 60W E27 bulb (not included).

Our Stylist Says

I love how the brass finish on this floor lamp adds a touch of vintage elegance and warmth to a space. It works particularly well in industrial, eclectic, or traditional interiors where it can serve as a statement piece. For styling, consider pairing it with mid-century or classic furniture to highlight its timeless appeal. Practical tips include positioning it next to a reading nook or a cosy corner, and using warm-toned bulbs to enhance its antique brass glow. Its minimalist silhouette makes it versatile enough to slot into various schemes, while its distinctive shape gives a nod to vintage lamp designs, adding character without overwhelming.
