A cult design object, the Panthella lamp is back in a brand new portable version. This cordless lamp is a real nomad: rechargeable, it can be used anywhere in the house! This portable lamp is an exact replica, just at a smaller scale, of its older sister which was designed in 1971 by the Scandinavian design master Verner Panton. With its round lampshade and flared base, the iconic Panthella lamp has a fun silhouette, typical of the seventies. This version is made entirely from metal: steel lampshade and cast aluminium base. It is fitted with an integrated LED source and its brightness can be adjusted using the dimmer (3 levels). It can be recharged with the USB cable provided and has up to five hours of battery life at 100%. A new-generation icon you really should treat yourself to! Designer and architect Verner Panton (1926-1998) created Panthella in collaboration with Louis Poulsen in 1971. Panthella stands out as one of the most iconic models created by Verner Panton, with an organic shape which reflects a stunningly soft light. With Panthella, Vernon Panton wanted to created a lamp with a lampshade and base which act as reflectors, combining the ensemble with the organic shapes which have forged the renown of the Danish designer. With its easy-on-the-eye lighting, Panthella is an excellent example of Verner Panton's incredible talent to create ambiance lighting. Panthella Portable Metal was launched in 2021, marking the occasion of the 50thth anniversary of the legendary Panthella model. Thanks to its iconic design and the fact that it's portable, Panthella Portable Metal offers a great range of flexibility in its use: Easy to carry, it can be used anywhere to create a pleasant and luxurious atmosphere in your garden during the summer months, or on a restaurant terrace… In its metal version, Panthella Portable offers a different experience than that offered by the version with a translucent acrylic lampshade. The metal versions concentrate light downwards, underneath the lamp, creating more precise lighting.
