Originally designed by Verner Panton in 1971, it wasn’t until recently that technology caught up with his innovative approach to design and now the Panthella MINI Table Lamp is produced by esteemed manufacturer Louis Poulsen. The Panthella Lamp’s iconic silhouette is replicated here in a miniature edition, with a high-gloss aluminium trumpet-shaped stem and coordinating spun steel shade completing the design classic. Boasting stepless dimming and fitted with cutting-edge LED technology, the lamp’s shade directs light downwards to avoid glare and cast a soft and comfortable glow. Gifted with a unique sense of colour, shape and light, Verner Panton is renowned across the globe as one of Denmark’s most influential designers. Boldly creating furniture and lighting unlike that of his contemporaries, Panton’s designs are housed in collections at New York's MoMA, Copenhagen's Danish Museum of Art and Design and the Design Museum in London.
