Description
The characterful Panthella Floor Lamp from Louis Poulsen offers the largest iteration of Verner Panton's signature design. Unveiled by Panton in 1971, this edition flaunts an injection-moulded ABS form with a distinctive white acrylic shade, directing light downwards to avoid glare and cast a soft, comfortable glow. Gifted with a unique sense of colour, shape and light, Verner Panton is renowned worldwide as one of Denmark's most influential designers. Boldly creating furniture and lighting that was completely unlike his contemporaries' work, Panton's designs are housed in collections at New York's MoMA, Copenhagen's Danish Museum of Art and Design and the Design Museum in London. Requires 1x max. 70W E27 bulb (not included).
