Description
Commemorating 50 years of Verner Panton's momentous design, Louis Poulsen unveils the Panthella 320 Table Lamp: a mid-sized iteration in three showstopping finishes. Unveiled by Panton in 1971, this 2021 take flaunts a cast aluminium base with an injection-moulded opal diffuser, complete with a signature opal acrylic or deep-drawn steel shade. The lamp directs light downwards to avoid glare and casts a soft and comfortable glow. Gifted with a unique sense of colour, shape and light, Verner Panton is renowned worldwide as one of Denmark's most influential designers. Boldly creating furniture and lighting that was completely unlike his contemporaries' work, Panton's designs are housed in collections at New York's MoMA, Copenhagen's Danish Museum of Art and Design and the Design Museum in London. Requires 1x max. 7.5W E14 bulb (not included).
Our Stylist Says
I love the Panthella 320 table lamp for its sleek, contemporary profile that instantly elevates any surface it’s placed on. Its chrome finish adds a touch of modern glamour, making it versatile enough to work beautifully in both minimalist and eclectic interiors. It’s particularly effective on side tables, desks, or even as a statement piece on a console. For styling, consider pairing it with ceramic or glass accents to create a balanced look, and keep nearby accessories simple to let the lamp be the focal point. Its understated elegance means it suits a variety of colour schemes and is particularly effective in monochrome or neutral schemes where its reflective surface can really shine.
