Description
Commemorating 50 years of Verner Panton's momentous design, Louis Poulsen unveils the Panthella 320 Table Lamp: a mid-sized iteration in three showstopping finishes. Unveiled by Panton in 1971, this 2021 take flaunts a cast aluminium base with an injection-moulded opal diffuser, complete with a signature opal acrylic or deep-drawn steel shade. The lamp directs light downwards to avoid glareand casts a soft and comfortable glow. Gifted with a unique sense of colour, shape and light, Verner Panton is renowned worldwide as one of Denmark's most influential designers. Boldly creating furniture and lighting that was completely unlike his contemporaries' work, Panton's designs are housed in collections at New York's MoMA, Copenhagen's Danish Museum of Art and Design and the Design Museum in London. Requires 1x max. 7. 5W E14 bulb (not included).
Our Stylist Says
I love this blue table lamp for its sleek, modern silhouette and luxurious brass finish, which make it a versatile piece in both contemporary and retro-inspired interiors. It works particularly well in spaces like bedside tables, on a minimalist desk, or within a pared-back living room where its statement shape can really stand out. Practical styling tips include pairing it with textured shades or inserting a warm bulb to enhance its golden tone, and balancing it with neutral or muted colour schemes to let the brass shine. Its timeless appeal makes it a great investment piece that adds a touch of sophistication without overpowering the surrounding decor.
