A nomadic version of the design iconA Scandinavian design classic revisitedA cult object of Danish design, the Lamp Panthella imagined in 1971 by Verner Panton is back in an ultra-practical portable version. Faithful to the original, this miniature edition retains the iconic silhouette of its big sister, while adapting to new lifestyles: lighter, cordless and rechargeable, it can be used in any room of the house, as and when you wish. An iconic organic shapeWith its flared base and hemispherical Lampshade, the Panthella lamp has a cheerfully retro '70s look. This organic shape is not just aesthetic: it embodies Verner Panton's intention to design a lamp where the base and shade act as reflectors. The result? A soft, diffused, glare-free light, ideal for creating a warm atmosphere. A nomadic design lampThe Panthella 160 Portable features an integrated LED light source and 3-level touch dimmer. Rechargeable via a USB-C cable (supplied), it offers up to 8.5 hours of autonomy at full power. Its polycarbonate structure - lampshade and base - makes this V3 version lighter and more resistant, compared with the previous version with a metal base. A masterpiece by Verner PantonConsidered one of Verner Panton's most emblematic luminaires, Panthella reflects the designer's visionary approach to light, transparency and color. According to his wife, Blackberry Panton, the designer spent a long time developing this project, exploring materials to capture the softest possible light. With this portable version, Louis Poulsen continues the legacy of a designer who left his mark on the history of Scandinavian design.
