Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of the Panama nest tables for their simple, natural-wax finish and clean lines - qualities that slot effortlessly into Scandi, contemporary or cottage-style schemes. Their warm timber tone brings a soft, lived-in feel without dominating the room. Styling them is straightforward: use the larger table as a side surface beside a sofa or armchair and slide the smaller one underneath when you need extra space. Top with a small potted plant and a couple of coffee-table books, or group three ceramic pieces in varying heights for a neat focal point. Their nesting design also makes them ideal as occasional bedsides in a guest room, where you can pull out the second table for added surface area.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
