Description
"A discreet, contemporary presence for this floor lamp created by Italian designers Ludovica and Roberto Palomba. This light with its linear, refined design consists of three tubes of different diameters inserted into each other. The ends of the tubes are encircled by metal rings which bring elegance to the silhouette. The two lower tubes are made of translucent PMMA, while the upper tube is in opaque PVC. The Palomar floor lamp contains two LED bulbs (not included) and provides two different types of lighting. The upper opaque tube projects a direct, powerful light, directed towards the ceiling. The two translucent lower tubes emit a soft, diffused ambient light. Designers Ludovica and Roberto Palomba on Palomar: "We wanted to radically rethink the lamp as an object. To act by subtraction, without going as far as an exaggerated minimalism. The metal rings, by their material presence, soften the rigour of the lamp, emphasising its decorative character. """.
