The loveseat features sturdy angular arms which are recessed to offer a wider seating area. The boxy back cushion is filled deep with feathers and an additional self-coloured scatter cushion enhances this cosy piece. I’m a fan of that Palma seat in steel cotton-linen for its neat proportions and soft, muted tone - it slips easily into a small living room, study or snug without overwhelming the space. The low, squared arms and light-wood legs suit Scandi, modern country or even a pared-back coastal scheme. For styling, pop a textured throw over one arm and add a velvet or suede cushion in a warm accent (think moss green or terracotta) to lift the colour palette. Position a slim side table close by for drinks or a book, and layer in a tall plant or sculptural vase nearby to draw the eye up without cluttering the floor.
