Palissade Cord collection: handcrafted elegance revisited by the Bouroullecs...Designed by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, the Palissade Cord collection embodies the perfect blend of contemporary minimalism and traditional craftsmanship. A sophisticated evolution of the iconic Palissade range, this outdoor furniture series features a hand-woven seat made from Recycled polyester rope. These Fabric Ropes are remarkably supple, adapting harmoniously to the body shape while guaranteeing exceptional seating comfort, even without a cushion. The steel structure, with its weather-resistant coating, forms a sleek frame in subtle dialogue with the woven ropes. Inspired by the woven plastic chairs of the 60s, Palissade Cord reinterprets this aesthetic with a contemporary twist, creating an openwork surface that plays with light for an airy, graphic effect. Available as armchairs, benches, Reclining chairs or sofas, this collection blends naturally into any outdoor environment, from urban terrace to bucolic garden. Combined with other pieces from the Palissade range or HAY tables, it promises versatility and timeless elegance. The Bouroullec brothers, pioneers of sustainable and refined design, infuse each piece with their unique vision of space and functionality. Care: To preserve the longevity and brilliance of your Palissade Rope furniture, regular maintenance is recommended. Clean the Ropes with a soft Cloth dampened with lukewarm water and a neutral detergent, avoiding products containing bleach or aggressive chemical agents. After cleaning, allow to dry in a well-ventilated area to prevent the formation of mildew. When furniture is not in use, we recommend the use of a Palissade protection case to protect it from UV rays and the elements, thus prolonging its durability (case sold separately).
