I’m a fan of the Palermo table’s simple silhouette and the contrast between its white top and warm gold base. It suits modern minimalist, Scandi-inspired or subtle Art Deco schemes and works equally well as a breakfast table in a small kitchen or a side table in an open-plan living area.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores".
