Description

Illuminate your space with the Paisley Wall Light in Cream. This elegant fixture features a soft cream hue that blends seamlessly with various décor styles. Its classic design with crystal effect droplets and warm glow creates a cosy ambience, making it a perfect addition to bedrooms, living rooms, or hallways.

Our Stylist Says

I love this wall light for its vintage elegance and versatile colour palette. The cream finish makes it easy to incorporate into a variety of interiors, from classic shabby chic to more pared-back, modern spaces. It works particularly well in bedrooms, living rooms, or hallways where a touch of subtle glamour can elevate the overall aesthetic. Practical styling tips include pairing it with understated accessories to let the fixture stand out, or contrasting it with darker wall colours for a more dramatic effect. It’s perfect for creating cosy, inviting atmospheres or adding a bit of historical charm to your decor.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
