Description

Add a touch of sophistication to your walls with the Paisley Wall Light in Antique Brass. The rich brass finish exudes timeless elegance, while the design complements both traditional and modern interiors. Create a warm and inviting atmosphere in any room with this exquisite wall light, featuring gorgeous crystal effect droplets which sparkle as they reflect the light.

Our Stylist Says

I love this wall light because of its vintage charm and elegant antique brass finish, which makes it a versatile piece for both classic and eclectic interiors. It works particularly well in bedrooms, hallways, or lounge areas where you want to add a touch of understated glamour. To style it effectively, consider pairing with other brass or metallic accents for a cohesive look, or let it stand out as a statement piece against neutral or soft-toned walls. Practical tips include ensuring the bulbs are positioned to cast warm, flattering light, and pairing it with complementary lighting options to create a layered and inviting atmosphere. Its decorative crystals and detailed design make it an ideal choice to add sophistication without overwhelming the space.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
