Featuring a high back for added support and comfortable armrests, they provide both elegance and comfort, making every meal feel like a special occasion. The rich velvet fabric adds a touch of glamour, elevating your dining space with timeless style.
Our Stylist Says
I’m a fan of these grey Tara dining chairs for their clean lines and softly padded arms - they marry comfort with a streamlined look. The muted velvet finish works particularly well in Scandi-inspired schemes or modern-minimal spaces, and the slim metal legs add a subtle mid-century touch. For styling, try pairing them with a light oak or white marble table to keep the palette bright, then layer in a natural-fibre rug for warmth underfoot. If you’re after a cosier feel, introduce a couple of slim, textured cushions in muted terracotta or soft green to pick up on any nearby plant life, and balance out the cool grey with brass or matt black candlesticks on the table.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
