Description

Our Padua collection has a simple but pleasing design and is produced by our skilled craftsmen to the highest standards using responsibly sourced solid wood and veneers. All items are made using a combination of solid pine wood and veneers and are carefully hand-finished in a light brown colour using a high-quality eco-friendly water-based lacquer. The Padua coffee table is perfectly suited for any living room. With a well-proportioned size, offering a large top area and a base shelf it can accommodate all your magazines, books and ornaments in one place. The top has a 3cm thick solid wood frame and the legs are also made of solid pine, making it extremely sturdy. Added to these features is a simple construction for easy home assembly, making it a great value product to be taken home today.

Our Stylist Says

I’ve found the Padua table’s simple light-brown finish and clean lines make it a really versatile centrepiece - it slips equally well into Scandi, modern-rustic or transitional schemes. The lower shelf is ideal for woven baskets of throws or coffee-table books without cluttering the top surface. Styling wise, I’d anchor it on a natural-fibre rug and layer a slim tray with a candle, a small plant and a stack of coasters. If you need extra storage, box files or low wooden boxes on the shelf keep remotes and magazines neatly out of sight.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
