I’m a big fan of the Padstow rattan chest because it balances natural texture with a clean, industrial frame - perfect if you want warmth without feeling too rustic. Its neutral oak finish and woven fronts slot seamlessly into Scandi, coastal or modern-industrial schemes, and the six drawers give plenty of hidden storage for linen, paperwork or clothes.
Styling tip: keep the top simple with a couple of black-toned vases, a low-profile lamp and a round mirror above to echo the rattan weave. Pair it with a sisal or low-pile wool rug and introduce leafy plants to soften the metal base. In a hallway, use it as a statement console; in a bedroom, you’ve got drawer space plus display all in one.
