I’m a fan of these Aspect chairs for their clean lines and warm walnut tones - they slot straight into both modern Scandi and relaxed rustic schemes. The solid timber seat and back have a tactile feel, so balance them with soft, neutral seat pads in oatmeal or slate for extra comfort. In an open-plan kitchen or compact dining nook they won’t overwhelm the space, and pairing them with a light oak table keeps the look fresh. For a touch of contrast, add a simple woven runner or a ceramic vase of greenery on the tabletop.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
