As an interior stylist, I’m a big fan of this velvet cocktail chair - its curved back and slim brass-effect legs give it a clean, contemporary feel that still reads as warm and inviting. The deep black finish works equally well in a minimalist living room as it does in an art-deco-inspired corner or a moody home office.
For styling, I’d add a textured cushion in a soft tone - perhaps terracotta or muted pink - to lift the palette, position it next to a slim side table with a sculptural lamp, and layer a natural-fibre rug beneath to balance the luxe velvet with organic texture.
