I’m a fan of the Alessio cluster for its clean, geometric lines and black-and-brass contrast - it feels modern without overpowering a room. The open-cube pendants cast interesting shadows and draw the eye upwards, making it ideal above a kitchen island, dining table or in a double-height hallway. Styling tips: hang the five pendants at staggered heights for visual interest, pair with warm-white LED bulbs and a dimmer switch to adjust ambience, and coordinate with matte-black or aged brass hardware elsewhere in the room. It works effortlessly in contemporary, industrial or Scandi schemes - just keep surrounding décor simple to let the light take centre stage.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy.
