Description

Find a versatile home accessory for your bedroom or living room with the 45x45cm Oxford Chenille Cushion in Grey, offering a sleek, modern accent for your home. The chenille fabric adds a plush, tactile element, while the Oxford edge gives it a crisp, tailored appearance. It s a subtle yet stylish cushion that suits any setting, and its soft grey tone pairs effortlessly with a wide range of colour schemes.

Our Stylist Says

I love this grey cushion for its versatile texture and neutral hue, making it easy to incorporate into a variety of interiors. It works well in both modern and classic settings, adding a cosy yet polished touch to sofas or armchairs. When styling, consider pairing it with other cushions in different textures or complementary colours to create visual interest. Practical tips include using it as a statement piece on a neutral sofa or mixing it with patterned cushions for a layered look. Its simple, elegant colour allows for easy seasonal updates and mixing with bolder accessories.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
