Originally designed for the professors at St. Catherine's College, Oxford, the eponymous Oxford Chair was created by Arne Jacobsen and boasts a high back and intuitive armrests, all upholstered in finest Grace Leather. Crafted to exacting standards by Fritz Hansen, the Oxford Chair instantly commands presence in a room, with a shell crafted from laminated veneer and upholstered in Grace Leather. Meanwhile the Oxford Chair features a tilting, height-adjustable, satin-polished aluminium base that offers freedom of movement and superior comfort. This edition of the Oxford Chair is upholstered in Sorensen's beautifully soft and smooth Grace Leather, a firm yet flexible aniline variety crafted from the finest European rawhide from Alpine cattle, with visible, natural markings that only get better with age.
