The luxury Oushak 66 rug features a striking traditional Oushak design which originates in Turkey, in muted colours which are highly decorative. Beautifully crafted with 100% local lustrous wool, this luxury rug is durable, versatile, and natural, making it a perfect choice for those who like to invest in their home decor. Using hand spun yarn and knotted by Artisans in the weaving areas of India, giving this rug an antique unique finish. Ushak carpets, particularly those known as lotto carpets in 16th. and 17th. century, are among the types of Oriental carpets in renaissance painting, as they were imported by Europeans, where they adorned cathedrals, churches, and the homes of the wealthy and powerful. Oushak rugs are known for the silky, luminous wool they work with. The traditional design makes this rug the perfect new addition to add to the vintage home, and would fit perfectly in living room, hallway and office areas, wherever you want to make a statement and add a cultural feel.
