Description

Quality and contemporary styled Ottori super king bed is fully upholstered in luxurious, dark grey velvet. Made in Italy, the Ottori sleeping dimensions are slightly more generous and fit European mattresses. It is paired with the Eton mattress. Providing firm support with luxury natural fillings, the Eton 1400 pocket natural mattress benefits from a reinforced support system and sumptuous layers of lambswool and cotton. The mattress is handmade in Ireland and features 1400 springs individually wrapped in fabric pockets, comforming to your body shape and reducing partner movement for minimal disturbance. The low platform bed features easy lift-up wooden slats revealing spacious storage beneath for bedding essentials. The smooth, soft curves and a deeply cushioned frame give the bed a clean lined look. Ottori is a standard king size bed frame W160 x L200cm. The mattress features luxury layers of natural lambswool and cotton, perfect for allergy sufferers. The breathable properties of the natural materials prevent moisture, keeping you cooler in summer, warmer in winter. The BackPro frame provides superior backcare support whilst the EdgePro borders prevent dipping. The Eton mattress is finished with a luxurious stretch-knit fabric, which is hypo-allergenic and soft to touch. The mattress has a traditional tufted finish which holds the fillings securely in place and minimises settlement.

Our Stylist Says

I love how the ottori grey velvet bed offers a sophisticated, contemporary look that works well in modern or minimalist interiors. Its plush velvet upholstery adds texture and depth, making it a versatile piece that can be easily styled with crisp linens, tactile throws, or patterned cushions for a personalised touch. The grey tone is neutral enough to complement a range of colour schemes, from soft pastels to bold accents. For practical styling, consider layering with a cosy rug underneath or a statement headboard feature to make it the focal point of the room. Its clean lines and understated design also lend themselves well to both monochrome and layered eclectic schemes, making it a flexible choice for various bedrooms.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
