This Solid Wood Tweed Fabric End Opening Ottoman Divan Bed Base combines timeless design with superior functionality. Expertly crafted in the UK from solid wood, this ottoman offers exceptional strength, stability, and long-lasting quality. The solid, non-slip platform top provides firm, even support for your mattressfar superior to slatted frames that can flex or weaken over time. Inside, the luxury wooden interior showcases a rich wood tone and smooth finish, elevating the look and feel of the storage space. Unlike cheaper ottomans where items rest directly on the floor, this base features a fully boarded wooden floor, keeping your belongings neat, protected, and easily accessible. The base stands 34.5cm high (37.5cm with gliders) and offers 24cm of discreet internal storage, easily accessed via gas-assisted end-lift pistons (600N800. N depending on size). Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
