Our Stylist Says
This beige velvet divan base is a versatile piece that works well in both modern and traditional interiors. I love its plush texture, which adds a touch of luxury while keeping things cosy. The end-opening gas lift feature is a real practical bonus, making access to the storage underneath quick and easy-perfect for decluttering or stashing bedding. Styling wise, it pairs beautifully with crisp, neutral linens and soft cushions, creating a calm, inviting look. For a more contemporary vibe, it can be complemented with metallic or geometric accents, while in a classic setting, rich textures and warm tones will enhance its cosy appeal. Overall, it’s a functional, stylish upgrade that suits a variety of bedroom styles.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
