I’m a fan of this Oslo console for its clean lines, compact footprint and light finish - it slips easily into a hallway, home office or behind a sofa in a living room. The white-and-oak look complements a neutral or pastel palette, and works just as well in a Scandi-inspired or modern minimalist interior. Keep styling simple: hang a round mirror above, place a slim lamp at one end and a small plant or ceramic vase at the other. Use the open shelf for low decorative boxes or a couple of art books, stash keys and mail in the drawer, and tuck a woven basket underneath for scarves, throws or extra storage.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
