Description

The Orrico rose gold hammered aluminium coffee table is a statement design, created by our in-house team and handmade by skilled craftsmen in India. Each table is unique and its iridescence derives from hundreds of tiny hammer marks on its surface, which catch and reflect the light. Surprisingly lightweight, it makes a strong focal point and complements a variety of furniture styles. Part of the Orrico collection, it is also available in different sizes and finishes.

Our Stylist Says

This rose gold hammered coffee table is a striking statement piece that balances contemporary appeal with a touch of luxe. I love how its textured finish adds visual interest without overpowering a space, making it versatile enough to work well in both modern and eclectic interiors. It's particularly effective paired with neutral-toned sofas to let the metallic finish really shine, but it can also complement richer colour schemes for a more dramatic look. Practical styling tips include stacking books or placing a decorative tray on top to create a styled yet functional vignette. Its reflective surface can help brighten up a room, making it an ideal centrepiece for living areas aiming for a chic, modern vibe.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
