Description

Introducing the Larch Snuggle Chair, a pinnacle of modern sophistication defined by its ultra-clean lines, low-profile stance, and elegantly slender set-back arms. This chair is elevated from the ground on black steel legs, creating a floating appearance to give the feeling of extra space, and the perfect modern touch. The Larch Snuggle Chair is the perfect relaxed, modern addition for your living space. Sit back and enjoy pure comfort as the seat cushions of the chair is finished with a luxurious feather topper. It is the perfect cosy spot for two or sprawl out and enjoy in solitude.

Our Stylist Says

I love this piece for its bold yet versatile design-a true statement maker that still remains practical. The Larch Snuggler’s fabric offers a tactile richness that adds warmth to both modern and traditional interiors. It works particularly well in schemes with muted tones, where its colourful patterned cushion can act as a lively accent, or in more eclectic spaces that celebrate pattern and texture. For styling tips, pair it with simple, streamlined furniture to let the loveseat be the focal point, or add layered textiles like throws and additional cushions to create a cosy, inviting corner. Its compact size makes it adaptable for smaller living rooms, reading nooks, or even open-plan spaces where you want an inviting spot to relax.

About Barker and Stonehouse

Founded in 1946, Barker and Stonehouse offer a diverse range of stylish and timeless pieces. From contemporary to traditional designs, Barker and Stonehouse brings sophistication and comfort to every room.

A Remarkable Journey

Born from the vision of two young RAF men, Charles Barker and Alex Stonehouse, Barker and Stonehouse emerged as a beacon of hope, infusing post-war Britain with a hint of glamour. Starting from a single store in Stockton on Tees, their entrepreneurial spirit led to rapid expansion, opening multiple stores across the region.

Their fast growth was fueled not only by their flair for business but also by their dedication to innovation. The business transformed over the years, adapting to the changing landscapes of retail, all while preserving its charm and values. By 2021, they marked an impressive 75 years in the industry, a testament to their enduring commitment to quality and customer service.

Sustainability at the Forefront

From the very start, Barker and Stonehouse has held a deep commitment to the environment. This devotion was showcased through initiatives such as the Trees4Trees Project, a reforestation effort in Indonesia.

Ensuring that for every tree used in their products, more than two were replanted, nearly 1.5 million trees have been restored under this initiative.

Their Knaresborough store, one of the greenest retail stores in the UK, further underscores their dedication to sustainable practices. As a cherry on top, by 2021, the company achieved the status of "Carbon Neutral Plus", making them a trailblazer in the furniture industry.

Innovative Spaces and Expanding Horizons

Over the decades, Barker and Stonehouse didn't just expand in number, but in the quality and innovation of their spaces. From opening their iconic store in Battersea, London, which beautifully preserved the characteristics of an old candle factory, to their latest state-of-the-art Gateshead store in 2023, every location tells a story.

They have also ventured into digital realms, ensuring a vast online presence and offering a wide range of products to customers all over the UK. Their partnerships, like the one with Fenwick in 2021, illustrate their adaptability and constant quest to reach new audiences.
