Description
Reissue of a popular lamp for all fans of Scandinavian vintage look… The Danish designer Jo Hammerborg, born in 1920, has brought new aspects of aesthetics into the world of lighting. In 1936, he created the Orient pendant which had great success and became a classic of Scandinavian design. In close collaboration with Hammerborg’s family, Lightyears decided to reissue the Orient pendant while fully respecting the original model and materials. Orient is back and is the same as it has always been: elegant and eye-catching, proud of the original Hammerborg’s concept. This graceful and airy Orient lamp seems to float in the air like a drop of a precious metal and its sculptural and organic design totally is an eye-catcher! The combination of materials is fascinating: a lampshade from sparkling copper sits on a piece of sombre rosewood. Details: Cable covered in black fabric.
