Description

Our handmade Orford Lampshade has a pretty waving stripe pattern running around its handwoven tussar silk base. The contemporary stripe design is hand block printed in a dusky red tone on the natural silk, then pleated around an iron frame for a more classic appearance. It’s lined and finished with a border of the same striped silk. This is the larger of two sizes.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Orford Lampshade for its bold pop of colour and subtle textured pattern, making it a versatile addition to both modern and traditional interiors. Its deep red hue works well in eclectic schemes or as a statement piece in neutral spaces. When styling, consider pairing it with brass or matte black lamp bases to highlight its rich tone. Practical tips include using this shade in living rooms or bedrooms where you want to create a cosy, inviting atmosphere-it's best in spaces where you want a punch of colour without overwhelming. Keep the surrounding décor relatively minimal to let the shade be its own focal point, or pair it with other warm textiles for a layered, welcoming look.
