Description
Kevin Gray is an internationally renowned interior designer. He transforms interiors into unique places, both sober and sophisticated, for demanding clients in Miami, New York and Europe. The Orbit lamp was designed by Kevin Gray in 1981. This large light sculpture is brought to life by graceful movements, a bit like a mobile. The long, horizontal arm can rotate through 360°. The Orbit lamp can be used to direct light precisely. Orbit showcases a collection of simple geometric forms: line, sphere and half-sphere. Its silhouette recalls the trajectory described in space by the movement of a planet around the sun and its presence invites interaction with light in an emotional relationship. This light is part of the LC collection by Lumen Center: reissues of iconic lamps from the 1920s to the 1980s, created by famous personalities of international design.
