This Omega Workshop rug is an original design by the Omega Workshops, a design enterprise founded by members of the Bloomsbury Group in 1913, which has been beautifully reimagined as a contemporary floor covering by Christopher Farr. The Omega Workshop rug itself is hand-knotted used 100% wool in an alluring combination of blue and neutral hues contrasted against darker fibres. With its distinctive decorative formation of triangles and rectangles, the Christopher Farr Omega Workshop rug would make an eye-catching and tactile addition to your home. Since 1988, Christopher Farr has been at the forefront of contemporary rug design. Utilising only the finest yarn and dyes and collaborating with the most talented weavers from across the world, the creation of a Christopher Farr piece is a painstaking process that results in rugs that are nothing less than works of art. With just 150 available and each displaying its unique edition number on the reverse, this limited edition Christopher Farr rug offers a unique opportunity to invest in a stunning collision between art and textiles. Located at 33 Fitzroy Square in London, Omega Workshops was founded by the influential art critic and painter Roger Fry as an artists' co-operative, selling furniture, homeware and textiles with the intention of providing graphic expression to the essence of the Bloomsbury ethos.
