Description

Elevate your decor with our Ombre Knitted Throw in Tonal Grey. This 125 x 150cm throw features a beautiful striped ombre design that transitions from light to dark grey tones. Crafted with care, it's a stylish addition to your living room or bedroom, looking ideal on any chair, couch or bed.

Our Stylist Says

I love how this grey ombre throw brings a cosy yet effortlessly modern touch to various interiors. Its knitted texture adds warmth and tactile interest, making it perfect for layering on a sofa or bed for both style and practicality. It works particularly well in neutral or monochrome schemes, but can also soften bolder colour palettes. For styling tips, try draping it casually over the arm of a sofa or folding it neatly at the end of the bed to inject texture without overpowering the rest of the decor. It’s a versatile piece that elevates the look of any living space while providing extra comfort.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
