I’m a fan of this marble-effect coffee table for its balance of smart styling and practicality - the white patterned top brings a touch of luxe without the upkeep of real stone, while the black metal base adds a clean, contemporary edge. It sits neatly into modern, Scandi or industrial-inspired interiors and works well against neutral sofas or richer, jewel-toned upholstery.
For styling, keep the look uncluttered: a low stack of design or art books, a small potted plant or sculptural vase, and perhaps a couple of metal or ceramic candle holders. Layer a textured rug underneath to define the seating area and introduce a soft contrast to the table’s clean lines.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
