An industrial wall light with an abstract twist, the Olson wall light with pulley design is a fantastic way to bring unique design and practical accent light into your home! Coming with a modern white and brass colour combination, this unusual suspended pulley design wall light can be adjusted to hang at a height that suits you, with the added practicality of an in-line switch allowing you to function the light with greater ease whenever it’s required. The wall light simply plugs into a standard socket, so you won’t be needing the help of an electrician to install this fitting – attach to the wall and plug in for great lighting in an instant!.

Our Stylist Says

I love this wall light’s pulley design for adding a touch of industrial elegance with a contemporary twist. It works particularly well in minimalist or modern interiors, especially when paired with other brass or matte finishes. Its adjustable pulley makes it practical for task lighting in reading nooks or over side tables, while the clean white finish lends a fresh, versatile look. For styling tips, consider installing it in a bedroom or study area where you want a functional yet stylish lighting feature, and keep surrounding décor simple to let the pulley detail stand out. It’s an easy way to bring both form and function into a space without overwhelming the overall aesthetic.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
