Our Stylist Says
The Olexa plush velvet bed offers a sleek, contemporary look with its black upholstery, making it a versatile choice for various interiors. I love it for its plush velvet finish, which adds a touch of luxury without feeling overly formal, making it suitable for both modern and transitional bedrooms. To style around it, consider pairing with crisp, white or neutral bedding to let the texture stand out, and add layered cushions and throws in soft fabrics to enhance comfort. It works particularly well in darker, moody colour schemes or minimalist schemes with a focus on textures. For practical styling tips, keep the surrounding space uncluttered to highlight its elegant silhouette, while a simple bedside lamp or metal accents can complement its contemporary vibe perfectly.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
