Description

With its sculptural style and contrasting colours, the Xavier Console Table certainly makes a statement. Based on a favourite from our collection – the Magicus Console Table – the X-shaped, hand-painted mango-wood struts that form Xavier’s base curve gently from top to bottom, and are sandwiched between two slender pieces of wood. These surfaces, which form the top and base, are painted a modern dark grey hue. Due to the manual process used to complete the console, the tones will vary from piece to piece.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a big fan of the Xavier console for its neat silhouette and contrasting dark-grey mango-wood top paired with that sculptural X-shaped base. It sits beautifully in contemporary or transitional hallways and living rooms, but also lifts more pared-back Scandi or modern-farmhouse schemes. Styling-wise, keep the top uncluttered: a slim table lamp at one end, a low vase or sculpture at the other, and perhaps a shallow tray for keys in an entry. A round mirror hung above will echo the curves of the base nicely. Underneath, a neatly stacked pair of woven baskets or a slim bench stool can provide extra storage without spoiling its clean lines.
