Description

The Varuna Mirror is a bold piece that will bring sophistication to any room. Though the design may look simple, the crafting process is anything but. Handmade and meticulously hand painted by a small group of talented artisans led by a master painter who has honed theircraft over many generations, the circular form features a warm red colour that's waxed for a subtle crackled effect and edged with brushed gold. The nature of the layered painting and drying technique means that the craftspeoplecan only make these mirrors at a certain time of year, and so limited numbers will be released into our catalogue at a time, making each piece extra special. Due to the artisanal process and natural elements that have an effect on the making of this piece, each one will have individual characteristics that add to their charm.

Our Stylist Says

I love the OKA Varuna Mirror for its bold colour and clean silhouette, making it a versatile piece for various interiors. The Chinese red frame adds warmth and personality, making it perfect for eclectic, bohemian, or even modern schemes that call for a pop of colour. It works well above a console in a hallway or as a statement piece in a living room, especially when paired with gold accents for a cohesive look. Practical styling tips include layering it with other textures or positioning it opposite a window to reflect natural light, helping to brighten and expand the space. Its simple round shape lends itself to both contemporary and traditional settings, making it a flexible addition to your decor.
