Description

The Vanern Rug is a neat design that celebrates form and texture with a diagonal linear pattern. The pile is hand knotted from wool, which is then sheared by hand to create the difference in pile depth that adds to its unique style. It is crafted by hand by 20 skilled artisans across the course of approximately 30 days per piece, making each piece incredibly special. Due to the artisanal crafting process, each piece will have individual characteristics that add to their charm.

Our Stylist Says

I love the OKA Vanern rug for its versatile, understated look-its natural wool and subtle geometric design make it suited to both contemporary and more classic interiors. It works particularly well layered over hardwood or neutral-toned flooring, adding warmth and texture without overpowering the space. Practical styling tips include keeping surrounding furnishings minimal to highlight the rug’s pattern, or pairing it with natural materials like wood and linen for a cohesive, relaxed feel. Its generous size makes it ideal for larger living areas or under a dining table, anchoring the space beautifully while offering comfort underfoot.
