Description

Our Tora Stripe Cushion Cover is handwoven from 100% natural tussar silk, cultivated in the forests of India's Bastar and Assam. The stripe pattern is crafted using an ancient Indonesian printing technique called Batik, which involves melting wax onto the silk and then pouring the blue dye over the top. Once the wax is removed, it leaves a stripe of the natural colour in its place that has not been saturated with the dye. Due to the artisanal techniques used, each piece will have individual characteristics that add to their charm.

Our Stylist Says

I love this Tora Stripe cushion cover in dark teal for its bold, contemporary pattern that adds a touch of personality to any space. It works especially well in both modern and eclectic interiors, bringing depth and richness to neutral sofas or beds. For styling tips, consider pairing it with textured throws or plain cushions in complementary colours to highlight its striking design without overwhelming the space. It’s versatile enough to team with earthy tones for a cosy vibe or with metallic finishes for a more polished look, making it a great go-to piece to refresh your décor.
