Description

This 2-seater sofa, with its soft stripes and border of red tassels, is sure to charm anyone who steps into your sitting room. If you'd rather keep the look of the room a bit more muted, the tassels can be removed or reattached with ease. They reminded us of the traditional hats worn in the Andes mountains and also inspired the name of this delightful sofa. Tarma is a city in the Peruvian highlands. Our Tarmas are all hand upholstered with handwoven rugs, and this artisanal process results in every piece having individual characteristics that add to their charm.

Our Stylist Says

I love the OKA Tarm sofa for its versatile yet timeless appeal; the soft charcoal colour is neutral enough to work across a variety of interior styles, from classic to contemporary. Its cotton upholstery adds a relaxed, comfortable vibe, making it perfect for family living rooms or cosy sitting areas. Style-wise, it pairs well with both patterned cushions and textured throws to create a layered look. Practical tips include placing it in a well-lit part of the room to showcase its subtle stripes, and balancing its classic shape with modern accessories, such as metallic or glass side tables, to give the space a fresh feel. Its simple yet elegant design allows it to anchor a space effortlessly, whether as a focal point or as part of a curated seating arrangement.
