Description

Not only are bananas a delectable fruit, but they are also used in basket weaving. The fibres are extracted from the fruit's skin before being dyed and woven by hand to make storage baskets, like the elegant ones seen here.

Our Stylist Says

I love this tall Anguilla basket for its natural texture and versatile appeal. It works beautifully in both modern and rustic interiors, adding an organic touch while offering practical storage. It's ideal for organising throws, magazines, or plant pots, and can be styled as a standalone feature or grouped with other woven elements for a layered look. To keep it looking fresh, consider pairing it with neutral or earthy colour schemes, and place it in corner spaces or next to seating areas for both function and style. Its natural banana fibre material means it’s sturdy yet lightweight, making it a practical choice for everyday use in a range of settings.
