Description

Our Talasa Range is named after the Greek word for 'sea', in homage to its hand-carved undulating edge that resembles a wave. This Wastepaper Bin has a reverse-tapered shape with a brushed red finish achieved through hand-applied artisanal brushstrokes that add depth to the colour for anything but a flat finish. The colour matches the Earthy Red hue of many of our textiles and will create a cohesive look if paired together. It is a substantial piece crafted from generously thick wood, with a matt lacquer applied for both aesthetics and durability. Due to the natural materials and artisanal crafting techniques, each piece will have individual characteristics that add to their charm'.

Our Stylist Says

I love this red bin for its bold colour and sculptural shape, which adds a touch of visual interest to any space. It works particularly well in modern or eclectic interiors where statement pieces are key. The brushed red finish gives it a subtle texture that elevates its aesthetic beyond a standard waste paper bin. To style it effectively, consider pairing it with neutral-toned furniture to let the colour stand out, or incorporate it into a vibrant, colour-schemed room for a cohesive look. Practical tips include keeping it in a corner or beside a desk to prevent it from dominating the space, while its unique design can double as a decorative accent when not in use.
