Description

Our Talasa Side Table is named after the Greek word for 'sea', in homage to its hand-carved undulating edge that resembles a wave. The scalloped shape was originally applied to a tray which was, in turn, based upon an antique. The mango wood is hand painted a matte red before the edges are rubbed to reveal the wood beneath. Due to the manual technique, each piece will have individual characteristics that add to their charm.

Our Stylist Says

I love this side table for its bold pop of colour and clean, simple lines that suit both contemporary and eclectic interiors. The red shade makes it a perfect statement piece in a neutral living room or hallway, adding vibrancy without overpowering the space. It works particularly well next to a sofa or armchair, where it can be styled with a small lamp, books, or decorative objects for functional flair. For practical styling, consider layering with textured accessories or using it as a base for a colourful vase or statement art piece. Its compact size also makes it versatile for smaller spaces or as a bedside table, adding a cheerful touch wherever it’s placed.
